| Job Description: |
|
- Very strong knowledge of current networking systems including routers / routing protocols, switches (VLANs / ACLs), firewalls (Security Policies), VPNs and NMS.
- Proficiency at enterprise-level Internet network systems, WAN load balancing and failover.
- Very strong knowledge of Linux (preferably SLES and RHEL) Enterprise servers and the services like Proxy, Zimbra Email FOSS, LDAP, NTP, BIND, NFS, SAMBA, ISCSI, FTP and SSH.
- Knowledge of different virtual technologies across platforms (ESX, virtual servers, virtual storage, Platespin etc.)
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Core Routing / Switching and Data Centre / Business Continuity.
- Ability to design, configure, troubleshoot and use recommended best practices.
- Ability to work with all major networking, system and telephonic vendors’ equipment including HP, CISCO, Fortinet, UBNT and Grandstream.
- Ability to setup entire IT infrastructure including Internet, Perimeter Security, Backbone servers, Remote Access, Printers and Other Peripheral Devices, Apple devices, MS Windows and OpenSuSE Desktop
- The administration, installation, modification, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairs of all network and system / laptop related hardware.
