Job Description
AIMEC has set in place an ambitious plan to ensure its growth and greater impact in a fast changing, global environment. Due to the scale and size of our services, we are striving to shape future of our organization with induction of young, dynamic and educated people through our management trainee program.
The basic aim of this Management Trainee program is to strengthen our own systems through standard operating procedures and implement process flow for each and every segment in an organization. These young people will be our future leaders but before acquiring leadership roles they will perform functions of frontline staff and will be actively engaged with our frontlines in implement policies and procedures.
Management Trainee Program
During the 12-month MT Program, trainees will gain in-depth knowledge of Administration, Sales & Marketing, Hospital Management, Client relationship, Accounts & Finance, Human Resources, Deputations with paramedical staff through on-the-job development and extensive training. Given AIMEC strong presence at Faizpur interchange, trainees will also gain exposure to Shahdara as well as nearby markets.
In addition to receiving extensive exposure to the hospital and medical institution’s business and operations, trainees will have opportunities to be actively involved in various corporate events, including Corporate Social Responsibility activities throughout the training period.
Training and Professional Development
- Trainees will be provided with broad exposure to the operations of 550 bedded, multidisciplinary health care center and teaching hospital, its services, and the local practices. In addition, they will be given numerous opportunities to develop their soft skills that are required for every successful professional.
- Within the 12-month program, trainees will be supported by the professionals to clear their training tenure.
On-the-job Development
During the first 12 months, trainees will receive intensive training in AIMEC’s core functional units through short-term job attachments, including the following departments: Hospital – Customer Services
Client Relationship Management
Administration & Security
Human Resources
Accounts & Finance
Sales & Marketing
IT
Chairman Secretariat
- Management Trainees will be given full day class room orientation session by HR department before deputation at every department. This orientation will give them realistic job preview regarding that department and in depth business knowledge before any formal placement.
- Project assignments will be given to them during their deputation in that particular department.
- Those assignments will be reviewed after completion of their deputation in that department. Performance rating will be based on their assignment and group presentation along with quizzes to determine product knowledge about organization.
Project Learning
To further develop the capabilities in research and analysis, problem solving, and decision making, trainees will be required to work on a project and deliver a presentation to our management panel after completion of their deputation at every department. HR in consultation with management panel (including HOD of respective department in which MT’s will be deputed) will give ratings on prescribed format and determine their suitability for that specific business/department.
Coaching and Mentoring
Senior Professionals will be assigned as mentors of the trainees to help them integrate into the organization and assist them in the career development through experience sharing.
Organizational Engagement
- Engaging at the corporate level is a valuable process of discovery for the trainees to fully understand AIMEC culture, direction and organizational dynamics.
- Trainees will have ample exposures and opportunities to involve in various corporate events and Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
- Through participating in these activities, trainees will learn to collaborate with others and develop their communication and leadership skills.
Career Orientation Mapping
- Career orientation review will be conducted by the end of MT Program to map trainees’ strengths with corporate manpower needs.
- Through assessing trainees’ aptitude, capabilities and potentials, this review will serve as a basis for planning appropriate job attachment for individual trainee after completion of management trainee program.
Continuous Career Planning and Monitoring
Performance of the trainee graduates will be continuously monitored and talented trainees will receive career planning assistance to help them develop into future management staff.
Graduation Ceremony
After successful completion of Management Trainee Program, Graduation ceremony will be organized for successful trainees in which the will be issued internal graduate certificate from chairman. The board of directors will announce new designation of successful trainees and the will be allotted respective departments on basis of their performance
Eligibility Criterion
- holds a bachelor’s degree (honors) or above from a reputable university (local or overseas) and has no more than two years of work experience;
- Maximum age limit will be of 28 years
- Be self-motivated, mature, and possesses a strong drive for excellence;
- Be a good team player and a natural leader;
- Has excellent communication and analytical skills;
- Possesses an excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Putonghua; and
- Be passionately committed to develop a long-term career
Recruitment Drive: Vision – Learn, Grow and Lead
We will initiate recruitment drive with vision to learn, grow and lead at reputable universities in Lahore which are as follow:-
1. FAST
2. Punjab University – IBA
3. Superior University
4. University of Lahore
5. University of Central Punjab
In recruitment drive we will be conducting written test (MCQ/open ended questions) at IT labs of selected universities. This test consists of IQ questions, motivational driver questions and business acumen questions. This will be time bound test and applicants can have access to this test via link which we will be providing them at the beginning.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for assessment center at facility of AIMEC.
Assessment Center
In assessment center, we shall gauge behavioral competencies of candidates through group discussions, business games, role-plays and written exercises. Following competencies will be determined during assessment center activities.

Further shortlisted candidates will appear for final panel interview. Panel interview comprises of Manager HR along with Management representatives as well as board of directors (if required). On basis of test, assessment center and interviews, list of concluding candidates will finalize by HR department along with list of candidates with second best option.
Realistic Job Preview
We will invite final potential candidates as well as candidates in waiting list (second suitable options) for realistic job preview which will help them to understand important aspects of a job prior to offer of a position so that they can make informed decisions. Consequently we can offer job to best suitable candidate(s). If these candidate(s) accept this offer then we will organize their realistic orientation program for new employee stress (ROPES) where we will assign a mentor who would help them to understand norms of our AIMEC family.
