Short Term Technical Assistant
Relevant Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 5-6 years of demonstrated experience working with communities, Community Based Organizations (CBOs), or non-governmental organizations (NGOs).Excellent writing/editing skills in English. Strong facilitation, project proposal writing, community mobilization, capacity building and project management skills.Demonstrated experience with program development and implementation.Expertise in youth, economic development, conflict mitigation, or gender programming.Excellent organization, attention to detail and communication skills.Ability to work under short deadlines and efficiently prioritize multiple tasks.Must be a Team player.Previous work experience with international donors/NGOs desirable.A minimum of a master’s degree in a social science field.Job Description:
Assisting PDOs in review of milestones of grantees, up gradation of grants status maintain contacts of grantees and reviewing the proposals.To facilitate program team in preparing and editing yellow lights documents, revisions of project proposals and budget in the light of comments provided by the program team and management. Working closely with PDOs to draft new grant proposals/ ideas and budgets utilizing appropriate contracting mechanisms. Ensure preparation of all related documents for approval by Senior Management Team and the donor.Manage a portfolio of grant activities, monitor their progress against timelines, provide technical facilitation and oversight on implementation and ensure adherence to grant agreements.Monitor and ensure grantee compliance with donor and organization policies, procedures and regulations. Actively contribute to information sharing within program development team and director program. Perform other duties as assigned.
