IT Field Support Engineer, Islamabad - Ibex Global
Result oriented and self-driven IT Field Engineers are urgently required to deliver the IT customer services to our renowned customer. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide IT/Application level support services to customers remotely and on sites
- Remote/on-site software installation, level-1, level-2 troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, fixes/patches etc.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions with minimum production downtime
- Coordinate with technical teams for all ongoing issues/activities to resolve/close within agreed timeline
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/solutions
- Provide on-site training, on-call coaching to the end users to use the business application for routine needs
- Conduct regular Audit of the sites ensuring the safeguard of overall H/W, S/W, Database, Data integrity and other environment related to business application
- Build positive relationships with customers
Technical requirements:
· At least 01 to 02 years’ hand on experience in IT Support role
· Proficiency in Installation/Troubleshooting Windows and various application software
· Familiar with Web Server installation/configuration and troubleshooting (IIS)
· Working knowledge of Remote Support and usage of Team Viewer
· Expertise in using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (DB Creation, Backup/Restore, User Addition, Password change etc.)
· SQL Reporting Services (Configuration, Report schedule, upload etc.)
· Basic to Intermediate SQL Server troubleshooting
· Familiar to SQL queries, Stored Procedures
· Expert in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel)
· Have functional knowledge of Android, APK installation/configuration
· Prior knowledge and experience with any IT Helpdesk or Ticketing System is desired, but not mandatory
Other requirements:
· Able to work in the field and willing to Travel outstation when/where required
· Basic Networking skills (Modem configuration, IP addressing, File Sharing over a Work-group etc.)
· Bike is MUST
· Proactive attitude and ability to work under stress
· Prior Client Service experience in any IT organization would be an advantage
