Area Sales Manager
1)
Achieve sales target through the sales team and
business partners/dealer in the designated area
2)
Develop business plan – aligned with company’s business
strategy – for covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, while meeting
agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence throughout designated
area
3)
Assist in the development of the Master Foam, Master
Celeste and Dura annual sales & marketing plan
4)
Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales
team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales
reports
5)
Set individual territory sales targets and get them
approved from Director Sales & Marketing
6)
Observe and evaluate the performance of reporting Sales
Team members through surprise visits in the field on a regular basis
7)
Authorize
monthly plans for reporting sales team members
8)
Make
necessary modification in reporting sales team members plans on weekly basis
9)
To
ensure timely reporting to senior management as and when required
10)
Visit
dealers & furniture market for follow up visits whenever it is necessary
for making contact effective for business generation
11)
Advise
furniture store owners on proper displays front bed, point of sale material and
location of placements
12)
Play
leading role in resolving dealer issues whenever reported by sales team and
ensure ever improving strong business relationship with dealers
13)
Mentor
dealers on ongoing basis and ensure that they have all the reading materials
available at their shops all the time
14)
Ensure
strict adherence – at the dealers’ end – to company’s policies related to
dealers and in case of violation take immediate disciplinary action
15) Compile
pictorial inside and outside data of the outlets in the designated area on
monthly basis in order to evaluate the dealership
16)
Keep up
with the latest product information supplied by the company
17)
Interpret,
present and discuss provided data with sales team
18)
Keep
an close eye on competitors strategies and plans proactively to deal with
unfavorable situations
Any other task assigned by
the management related to Sales & Marketing
