Regional Manager Radio Network Optimization, Karachi - Warid Telecom Pvt Ltd

Job Objective:

The role holder is responsible for the optimization of the regional part of Warid Telecoms cellular network to meet business requirements and to manage regional optimization team , providing line management, setting direction, vision and objectives for the regional office

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with the other Regional Manager, radio network performance team and National Optimization Manager to ensure awareness of common issues and consistency and uniformity across the networkManage and support the growth in traffic to maintain network performance in line with KPI targets Liaise with other departments , equipment suppliers , vendors and other mobile operators as per business needsCDD- Support Roll- out Team in timely provision of Cell Design Data for integration of new sites for all vendors nationwide. Analyzing drive test reports for new launches sitesUnderstand the various parameters and setting available to us in Huawei and Ericsson network Complaints ensure timely resolution of customer complaints with due feedback to customer management team (CMT) Parameter analysis and propositioning verify default and non- default parameters and advise as to recommended figures Strategic optimization Manage new feature trial that would be quality / cost beneficent to Warid TelecomData Network- Manage Warid Radio Network performance and optimization team for ensuring optimized GPRS /EDGE network settingsTake Regional lead on making recommendation on Upcoming GSM related technologies and services for their feasibility of incorporation into Warid Telecoms network to meet business requirements and network improvementsRecruit and manage regional optimization team members where necessaryAssign tasks and responsibility and set objectives for Regional Optimization teamGroom team members technically, professionally and managerially as requiredEstablish a suitable development plan for the team members Field visit to area within assigned regionVendor and financial management

Managing vendors and to ensure contracted network , KPIs are met across the regionEnsure resolution of regional customer complaints within defined SLAsTimely provision of CDDsDrive for resolution of KPI/ customer affecting issues Drive new feature trials > 60 % Network utilization for all network elements, subjected to minimum technical configurationRequired Skills
