Health & Safety Officer
Urgently required Health & Safety Officer having of 2 to 3 years’ experience required in Health & Safety
Job Description:
– Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy.
– Making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation
– Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
– Carrying out regular office inspections to check policies and procedures related to workplace health and safety are being properly implemented.
– Responding to employees’ safety concerns as well as conducting necessary safety inspection.
– Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
– Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for management.
– Ensuring the safe installation of equipment.
Skills Required:
– Basic knowledge of good health and safety practices.
– Ability to multitask effectively
– Good spoken and written communication skills.
– Good level of physical fitness and stamina.
– Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
– The ability to cope under pressure.
– Good command on Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
– Qualification: Graduate.
