Pakistan: Finance Coordinator
It’s hard to believe that today 650 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and 2.3 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute.
WaterAid is looking for Finance Coordinator to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.
Working within the Country Programme team, the Finance Coordinator will be responsible for:
· Preparing financial grant reports and discussing them with the project team.
· Responding to queries about from donors, partners and WaterAid internal management about financial reports, in coordination with the Finance Manager.
· Analysis and review of grant expenses, finalisation of monthly management accounts, and their analysis for SMT review and follow up.
· Reviewing financial data before posting it into SUN and monthly bank reconciliations.
· Assisting the Finance Manager in Multi Year Planning & Budgeting and mid-year review processes.
Additionally, you will be liaison for capacity building with partners’ finance teams on grants management if required. You will act as a second tier to manage all restricted and unrestricted grants.
To be successful, you’ll need to be specialist with 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years in the development sector.
