Pakistan: Health and Nutrition Specialist


It’s hard to believe that today 650 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and 2.3 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute.


WaterAid is looking for a Health & Nutrition Specialist to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.


The position holder reports to Head of Programmes and will be accountable for developing an integrated approach to WASH and health/nutrition (H&N) and contribute to the five strategic objectives of the WAP second generation country programme strategy (2016-2020). The services of a dedicated H&N specialist are required to strategically fill the current gap of a viable WASH and H&N programme. This will not only help in achieving these strategic objectives but will also help in advocating for a more holistic national approach to sustainable development.


To be successful, you’ll need to be an expert with minimum 10 years’ relevant experience with at least 5 years’ at medium-senior level management with either a government agency or a large NGO/multilateral in H&N.
