Job Description:

PURPOSE and MAIN OBJECTIVES

The main purpose of this position is to collaborate with ARC teams to implement overall fundraising goals and identify fundraising opportunities and researches new prospects. The position holder will also be responsible to ensure that high-quality; accurate reports and proposals are submitted to donors/partners on time, research and assessments tasks, and capacity building activities are managed properly.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES

Ensure that all proposal designs comply with Donor Requirements, Government Policies, are in coordination and collaboration with chosen partners and meet ARC standards.Ensure that global standards (such as SPHERE, HAP-I, People in Aid, etc.) are incorporated into all relevant Proposal designs. Researching, conceptualizing, writing, and organizing ideas into a complete submit-able that addresses the needs of beneficiaries and requirements of the donor agencies. Develop, update and maintain a research library in terms of hard and soft copy documents. Attend donor coordination, cluster meetings and other events regarding promotions and funding opportunities and present ARC Pakistan program. Job Description:

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES  

Representation

Project Summary:

Position Summary:
The Sector Expert/Advisor should be a utility management expert and should have at least 15 years of experience with the Pakistani energy and utility sectors. The expert’s role will be to advise the team at key points in the evaluation process, particularly, reviewing the design of the data collection and reviewing the draft report. The advisor will help to facilitate the study with their experience and key networks in the utility management sector. With an awareness of best practices in utility management, he/she will also contribute to the development of relevant and actionable recommendations. The Advisor/ will be provided over a few days in September 2014 when the evaluation starts and again in October 2014 after the data collection is completed.

 Assessment :

Programme design :

Management and Implementation:

Job Description:

Program Implementation

Technical Assistance

WASH Program Manager

The WASH program manager (PM) is over all responsible for running and supervising water, sanitation and hygiene programs at all stages of the project management cycle. He/she is also responsible for accomplishing the program objectives and outcomes within the contextual constraints. The PM ensures the overall success of the program by making sure the WASH team completes the defined activities while adhering to internal standards and contractual obligations; and that the program is completed on time, within budget and with acceptable quality.
