Job Description

Source Path is an innovative provider of commercial software for IT Service Providers, specifically Managed Services and Cloud Computing providers. We are looking for a top-notch UX/graphic designer to join our team to do a ground-up interface redesign of our product Solution Engine. Someone with a real creative flair, knowledge of user experience and information design.

You will

• Play a key role in defining our brand and the look-and-feel of the product.

• Create beautiful interfaces that enhance usability rather than detract from it

• Care deeply about the user experience from the first impression to the last goodbye

• Passionately defend the product against feature bloat

• Remove extraneous steps from every part of the product

• Conceptualize and articulate ideas, prototypes, personas and scenarios to drive decisions

Required Skills

• First and foremost, you should have an excellent eye for design. You should know great web UI when you see it, and be able to explain why it’s great (even if you didn’t create it!).

• You’ll need to be a Photoshop ninja. You should also be fluent in Illustrator or whatever you use to create wireframes.

• You should have good working knowledge of XHTML/CSS. 

• We are looking for self-starters – candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction, and learn by asking the right questions.

• Finally, you should have a solid portfolio of application design. We want to see that you’ve built great web/desktop interfaces before.

Experience

This is a senior position; we’re looking for somebody who has at least 5+ years of UI/UX design experience.
