Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

The QA Engineer is responsible for working closely with development during the design and implementation of new features. This includes test leadership, test scoping, design, implementation, execution, debugging, and automation. This position works closely with developers in design reviews and help ship products with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

    Participate in requirements and design reviews    Define test strategy for new product features    Write detailed test plans for assigned features to include manual and automated tests    Execute test plan and report on progress against plan    Review Product Requirement documents and Engineering Functional Specifications, define test strategy      Lead and work with remote teams    Provide technical scoping of new projects    Communicate project status to management

Skills and Experience:

Experience in leading testing and releasing software productsExperience in leading testing effort on medium to large projectsTest automation and harness designBlack Box and System Test methodologiesSoftware development lifecycle Good software engineering practicesBasic software design principles Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be an excellent team-playerAble to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritiesExperience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Willingness to stretch and achieve aggressive milestonesBachelors Degree in computer engineering or related field
