Pakistan: Country Director, Pakistan

GAIN is seeking an exceptional leader for the role of Country Director Pakistan.

The Country Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of GAIN’s strategy in Pakistan, including in-country resource mobilization efforts, the identification of GAIN’s niche in country and ensuring that GAIN plays a catalytic role in engaging government, donors, NGOs and business partners around strategies to end malnutrition. Moreover, the Country Director will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the Pakistan Country Office, including high quality program design and proposal development, program implementation, reporting, fiscal and human resource planning and oversight of local implementing partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in developing and managing projects in a multi-cultural environment, preferably at international level in the private sector, food industry or with development organizations. Previous experience in a Country Director’s role, as well as in delivering nutrition, food fortification or other public health programs is an asset. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience managing USAID programs as well as experience working in Pakistan. Fluency in English and proficiency in local language is highly desirable.
