Responsible for performance management and optimization of Teradata Warehouse.
Responsible for capacity and resource planning from operational perspective.
Coordinate with Teradata support for early resolution of issues.
Administer Teradata database including performance tuning, trouble shooting, and problem resolution and space management.
Manage Teradata workload using tools such as TASM, priority scheduler.
Monitor and analyze performance data using native Teradata tools such as; Viewpoint, PMON, and TD. Analyze and monitor potential performance.
Teradata DBQL/RES Usage and Teradata Manager Reporting.
Teradata utilities (FastExport, MultiLoad, FastLoad, Tpump, BTEQ and QueryMan).
Certified Teradata DWH Administration, Excellent SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, DB Administration (Teradata Db and ORACLE DB)
RDBMS technology and advance SQL knowledge.
Proficiency in bash programming and UNIX OS Operations and system administration
Backup tools like NetVault and BAR knowledge
Basic knowledge of components of a GSM network and there functions
