Driver - Mohmand Agency
Position Summary:
Working knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of driving. Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures. Ability to deal effectively and patiently with others. Safe and Legal operation of a commercial motor vehicle. Pakistan driver’s license & Knowledge of the KPK and FATA region.
Reporting & Supervision:
The position of Driver, will report directly to the Admin Field Officer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the project staff in obtaining and facilitating movement of project staff.Arrange for vehicle repairs when necessary and ensure that the vehicle is kept in working order.Log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, etc.Ensure that all necessary procedures, by law and internal policy, are adhered to when drivingCollect and deliver mail or documents when requiredAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructionsOther functions could be related to the position, according to the work needsProvide safe transport of passengersPerforms other related duties as assignedPhysical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Prior driving/taxi experienceExcellent knowledge of the local regionValid Pakistan Driver’s licenseClean driving record/historyHigh School educationFluent in EnglishExcellent communication skillsThe physical demands and work environment that have been described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
