Job Opportunity Description:


(CASE NO. 14 – RH / 2015) RECRUITMENT TO ONE TEMPORARY LIKELY TO BE PERMANENT POST OF COMPUTER PROGRAMMER (BS-17).

1. QUALIFICATION:

1. M.A / M.Sc (2nd Class) in Computer Science from a recognized University,

OR

M.Sc (2nd Division) in Physics / Math / Statistics or M.A (2nd Division) in Economics from a recognized University; and

2. A Certificate of Training (minimum 10 weeks) in COBOL, or any other Programming Language (C, BASIC, PASCAL, FORTRAN, ASSEMBLY, ALGOL, (RPG, PL/I) or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

B. Two years practical experience in successful writing and dubbing of programmes written in COBOL or other acceptable programming language (C, FORTRAN, ASSEMBLY, ALGOL, RPG, PL/I, BASIC, PASCAL) in an organization of repute.

2. AGE:

25 to 35 + 5 Years General age relaxation in upper age limit for Male Candidates = 40 Years and

25 to 35 + 8 Years General age relaxation in upper age limit for



Female Candidates = 43 Years on 20-07-2015 as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD Notification No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 21-05-2012.

3. PAY: BS-17

4. DOMICILE: Candidates domiciled in any District of the Province of

Punjab.

5. GENDER: Male, Female & Shemale.

6. PLACE OF POSTING: Anywhere in the Punjab.

7. IMPORTANT NOTE:

One paper MCQ Type written test of total 100 marks two hours duration with the syllabus “COBOL, (C, BASIC, PASCAL, FORTRAN, ASSEMBLY, ALGOL, (RPG, PL/I)” shall be conducted to shortlist the candidates as per prescribed policy of PPSC.
