Required Help Desk Engineer at Karachi
Minimum Knowledge, skills and experience requirements
Bachelor degree preferably in IT or relevant qualification
Minimum of 6 months to one year experience in maintaining sophisticated IT environment
Responsibilities:
The principal responsibilities of the Help Desk Engineer are to:
- Support the Line Manager in ensuring that all devises and equipment at the newsroom is functioning without interruption at all.
- Respond in a timely and efficient manner to all technical issues and problems that arise.
- Perform routine and critical maintenance tasks in an efficient and timely manner as directed by the Line Manager
- Ensure technical competence and updating of all operational staff to perform their roles
- Update knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis
- Independent technical troubleshooting and logical problem analysis in a high pressure and uncertain environment
- Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and resolve problems
- Ability to adapt approach and behavior to changes in the work environment
