Accounts Officer

Job Description
o Operate at Oracle Database (ERP).
o Handle all accounts for Branch and prepare the financial position on monthly.
o Supervise and monitor day to day Accounting operation
o Ensuring timely deposit of cash in the bank
o Maintenance of General Ledger
o Review / Preparation of daily Journal Vouchers for all expenses with all supporting documents
o Checking / Reviewing of Journal Vouchers for correctness and proper approval
o Checking the correctness of all the daily transaction entered in the system
o Reviewing / Preparing Bank Reconciliation
o Calculation of Staff vacation pay and providing necessary information of personnel department for
calculation of staff benefits
o Preparation of budgeted income statement based on data provided by the different department Heads
o Preparation reports to monitor performance against budget and to highlight areas with major deviations
o To monitor cash sales and petty cash
o To support higher management for any info needed for effective decision making
o Keeping up to date record of all accounting transaction.
o Aging Reports Prepration to follow up the Payment Recovery.
o Inventory management by proper recording ins and outs.
o Petty cash management with in the specified limits of the branch.
o Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending Educational workshops & Training
Sessions.
o Prepares the monthly financial statements and other MIS reports Prepare monthly closings and make
entries for fixed assets, prepaid, and accruals.
o Performs other task that may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
