Pakistan: Logistics Coordinator

playing a key role providing our Pakistan projects with essential logistics support. You will use your problem solving skills to help teams work in a difficult environment and to foster strong relationships with their local communities.


Key activities in your role will include


  • Contributing to the definition of mission strategy.

  • Coordinating logistics at national level.

  • Collaborating with headquarters in the management of international transport.

  • Promoting and ensuring collaboration and coordination in logistics with the mission’s partners.

  • Preventing and managing fraud and corruption.

  • Managing the Logistics team in capital and being a support/technical Manager for Logistics Manager in the bases.

  • Representing ACF externally, developing strong links with other NGO actors and local communities.

Do you meet the profile required criteria ?


You’re a seasoned logistics professional


  • You have a MBA or Master Degree preferably in Logistics, supply chain, Humanitarian Studies or similar.

  • You have at least 8-10 years of international professional experience in a similar role having at least 5 years in humanitarian sector in a senior manager role.

  • You have good general knowledge in IT, mechanics and engineering, radio and satellite.

  • You have experience managing budgets and the ability to prepare timely, complete and accurate reports. Advanced knowledge of donors’ guidelines and procedures (ECHO, UNICEF, USAID, CIDA etc.).

You enjoy the challenge of juggling multiple activities


  • You are highly organized and pay attention to small details. You take pride in planning not just the best case scenario but also for multiple contingencies.

  • You are extremely capable sharing your technical knowledge, as well as the organization’s policies & procedures – both verbally and in writing. Your reports are timely, comprehensive and well-written.

Your work style builds trust within your team


  • You have extensive experience communicating with staff from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds. You are comfortable calmly and diplomatically negotiating towards creative solutions in stressful situations.

  • You identify your team’s professional development needs and work with the HR department to plan relevant learning & development activities.

  • You respect the diverse opinions and expertise found within your team and effectively delegate so that knowledge and experience is built from in key activities.
