Pakistan: Senior Associate, Food Fortification Program (13 month Fixed Term Contract)

As part of the USAID program on Food Fortification (in particular Oil and Ghee fortification) GAIN is recruiting a position of Senior Associate Food Fortification in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The Senior Associate Food Fortification Program will work in the Fortification team to support the delivery of the USAID funded Regional Fortification Project that aims at supporting the Wheat Flour and Edible Oil Industry to export fortified Wheat Flour and Edible Oil/Ghee.

Furthermore, the role will strengthen technical capacity in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of the Program and provide M&E support to all activities related to the Pakistan Food Fortification program. This position will report to the Senior Project Manager, Food Fortification with a secondary report to the Monitoring, Learning and Research (MLR) team in GAIN Geneva.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience of project management, preferably a wheat flour and/or edible oil project. Further, they will have a strong understanding and the expertise to implement robust M&E frameworks or plans. The candidate must be fluent in English, Urdu and Pashtu.
