It’s hard to believe that today over 650 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and over 2.3 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute.

WaterAid is looking for a Campaign Officer to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.

The Campaign Officer will assist the Campaign Manager in the development, planning and implementation of the countrywide mass media campaign for behaviour change that aims to prompt masses as well as authorities, to enhance their knowledge, attitudes and practices related to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene.

To be successful, you’ll need to have at least 3-6 years of proven experience in assisting and coordinating communication campaigns on social issues involving various stakeholders. You will also have the ability to analyse environmental issues in terms of campaign opportunities and in terms of overall strategic objectives.
