Job Description
Job Summary:Working closely with an exceptional team of Voice Writers and Scopists, the Editors will be responsible for creating publication-quality transcripts of teleconference and webcasts of corporate earnings calls using speech-recognition software, primarily Eclipse.
You will be joining a dynamic team of 250+ counterparts in global locations. The team is comprised of VoiceWriters, Scopists and Editors and provides countless opportunities to learn transferable skills & knowledge.

Qualification & Required Experience:At least a Bachelor’s/College Degree is preferable (no studies in progress)
- Previous experience of vetting and editing articles, emphasis on strong command of grammar & punctuation
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in the Call Center industry is required
- A ‘Touch-typist’ with a typing speed of 55 words per minute will be preferred
Role and Responsibilities: You will essentially collaborate with peers and the Team Leader on continuously improving the transcriptions workflow process. You will also be involved in collecting other Business Information, such as private company profiles, as required by S&P Global.
- Proofread and edit transcripts against the recorded audio of the event
- Perform internet-based research to fact-check all terminology, products, and names
- Maintain a low error rate, contribute to very high-quality transcripts
- Assist in maintaining terminology library within the softwares
- Each role is dependent on the other and must be coordinated precisely with the other team members to produce the final output
