Sub Grant Assistant

We are an International Organization (INGO) working in the field of elections, democracy and governance in collaboration with government institutions and civil society in support of electoral reforms in Pakistan. We are currently seeking committed and energetic staff for the above position. Detailed scope of work with required skills and qualifications are summarized below:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides full cycle sub grant award administration, including evaluation of sub grantees, negotiation and award of sub grants, administration and close out of sub grants.Ensures compliance with sub grant award terms and conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of the funding award, as they relate to the sub grant.Receives and reviews financial reports of sub grantees and evaluates requests for disbursement of funding.Prepares journal entries to record sub grantee activity and maintains database of all sub grants.Provide training for sub grantees as required.Coordinates with program staff in administering any revisions to the sub-grant awards.Maintain archives of the Field Expense Report.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.Minimum of two (2) years of work experienceGood communication skills oral and verbal  (English and Urdu)Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and prioritize tasks.Preferably prior working experience with international organizations Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel,

Grant & Compliance Officer

Requirements:  

CA Intermediate, MBA in Finance or M.Com (from HEC recognized Institutions).3 + years of experience on same position will be preferred.Working experience with reputed international organizations will be an edge.

Responsibilities:

To keep up to date on donor reporting requirements and communicate changes to programme staff/regional/country offices as appropriate.Monitoring of grant contracts and ensuring full compliance with donor requirements. This includes building positive relations with donors and programme staff; to ensure that accurate and timely reports are submittedAs needed, assisting the finance and programme staff in the development of budgets, contract negotiations, review of contracts and contract reporting/analysis.Ensuring that all contract information is accurate, appropriately filed, current and available toall who use it.Ensuring all financial and contract issues are properly completed at the close out of contracts.    This is not an exhausted list; you may be required to perform other related duties assigned by your supervisor.
