Asst Network Administrator

Job Description:

Asst Network Administrator is responsible to install, troubleshoot LAN environment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN)


2. Install and configure layer 2 switches


3. Interaction with end users to provide support regarding network related issues like connectivity with branch, other equipments on the LAN.


4. Maintain, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot network equipments.


5. Implement and ensure security procedures of network.


6. Troubleshooting, root cause identification and problem resolution.


7. Report to Network Administrator, the status of all events as per the escalation procedures.


8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Network Administrator.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other attributes

1. Bachelors / B.A/BCS/DCS, Hardware & Software


2. Minimum of 1 years of experience over LAN/WAN, network devices (switches and routers etc )


3. In depth knowledge of the network topologies, protocols, tools, and techniques


4. Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving ability


5. Hands on support experience of a mid-sized (20-50 node ) network


6. Experience with a variety of network topologies


7. Network certification (MCSE/CISCO/Juniper) preferred.


8. The candidate must be willing to work in irregular hours and weekends.


9. High-quality customer service skills
