PROCUREMENT  MANAGER


 


A leading National Pharmaceutical Company based in Karachi, Pakistan requires Procurement Manager. The incumbent should be responsible for:


Responsibilities:


  • Expert in delivering and managing Procurement, imports/ local raw and packaging material with significant savings.

  • Purchasing & execution of Inventory & materials management policy of the Company, Imports,

  • local purchasing, Inventory Management (IM) and Material Planning Management with MRP tool.

  • Managing the overall procurement of all Imported and Local raw and packaging materials as per Inventory Policy.

  • Budgeting and planning the funds for procurement and sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials & maximum cost savings.

  • Identifying the alternate sources in case of critical components to reduce the cost & meet schedule as per the MRP (Material Resource Planning), and Import.

  • Effectuating cost saving initiatives by eliminating/ substituting process use of alternate material for optimizing drawing specification.

  • Implementing quality improvement programs for enhancing performance and ensuring compliance with quality control standards for improvement in quality.

  • Ensuring compliance to regulation as per moh and customs policies and handling customs clearance at the customer premises to take care of customs clearance & following customs compliance activities.

Skills:


 


  • Supply Chain Management (All Components including Forecasting & Planning, Warehousing, Logistics and Procurement)

  • Imports and local Buying, Inventory Management (IM), Material Planning Management with MRP tool

  • Supply Planning with MPS tool & production planning with MPS tools, Distribution Network Planning, Negotiation and Sourcing

Qualification:


Master’s in Business Administration (Supply Chain Management)


Experience:


5-8 years (Import/Local Procurement)
