Pakistan: Program and Administrative Assistant, Pakistan


The Program and Administrative Assistant plays an important role in the smooth running of the GAIN Lahore office by providing day to day programmatic support to the Senior Project Manager and other Project Staff.


The Program and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that high quality project and financial reports are prepared and submitted in a timely fashion and also in accordance with donor guidelines. Further, the incumbant will help to coordinate the procurement process of goods and services by assisting in the identification and selection process of providers, as well as assisting with contracts and agreements drafting. Moreover, the Program and Administrative Assistant will be involved with organizing key events and meetings, which includes the preparation of presentations, drafting of press release and the development of the content for key meetings.


The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration, development studies, public health related studies or relevant subject, and will have solid experience of managing a high quality documentation workflow and proactively ensuring the accuracy of the data. In addition, the ideal candidate will be fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi. He/she will have an excellent working knowledge of the entire MS Office package along with good general IT skills. Previous experience of working on USAID projects is a solid advantage, as well as previous experience in health or nutrition programming.
