Assistant network administrator

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop positive, open relationship with all customers and teammates to support the ESC and NE mission.
• Ability to gain internal support and establish a solid working relationship with customers, peers, and management
• Positive personal conduct and attitude that recognizes customer service is a primary focus of our contract, and proactive and professional execution is critically important to our success
• Implement Operating System and application upgrades/patches on assigned systems
• Capture system hardware and software details and enter in Service Desk Plus asset management system
• Assist with the development and dissemination of IT Security Awareness documentation
• Assist with organizing and reporting IT Security tools matrix and scan results for a variety of IT tools
• Assist with patch management and KATS actions
• Work with SMEs to develop standard operating procedures (SOP) or work instructions for daily, recurring work tasks
• Work with SMEs to conduct IT Security scan on all subsystems
• Ability to work independently as well as be an engaging member of a team
• Effectively manage time and able to be focused on timely delivery of all task assignments
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
