We are a big e-commerce startup based in Dubai, UAE, growing fast, Hatifkom.com seeking an energetic, wildly talented, upbeat individual with outstanding organizational skills and a strong desire to maintain our high standards of customer service.

We have several Magento Enterprise and Magento Community projects going on and we’re looking to hire a solid Magento developer to our team.

We look for people with a passion for achievement, integrity and the desire to make things happen.

Successful candidates should have web-based programming experience in PHP, utilizing the Magento framework is a huge bonus. Of course, preference will be given to candidates who have solid proven background in object-oriented programming using PHP and has recent experience in highly complex and customized Magento implementations.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
– Develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features
– Building and maintenance of Magento and other core PHP based applications
– Leading development with support from internal and external resources
– Design and develop relational database systems and their web interfaces
– Responsible for integrating MySQL database with the client websites
– Customize of e-commerce sites to support SEO/SEM team
– Gather technical requirements for third party integrations
– Collaborate with project manager and team members

Qualifications:
– BS degree in Computer Science, similar or equivalent practical experience.
– 2-3 years of professional experience working with Magento (can show examples). Magento Developer Certification is a plus.
– Strong database design, implementation, and query development, specifically MySQL
– Implemented front-end layout using HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScripts, jQuery
– Experience in developing e-commerce websites
– Understanding of Magento structure
– Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
– Trustworthy, amicable and team-oriented individual
– Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
– Consistently proactive
– Knowledge of current SEO/SEM and Social Media best practices
