HR & Admin Manager

Background:

We are a national non-profit organization working to end poverty and uplift the living standards of rural communities through innovative pro-poor interventions. Currently project implemetnation is in Districts Jhang, Layyah and Rawalpindi on Micro Credit & Enterprise Development, Health & Education, Community Physical Infrastructure, Social Mobilization and Human Infrastructure Development.


We are seeking applications for the position of “HR & Admin Manager” based in its head office in Islamabad with possible visits to the field offices.

Job Summary:

Under supervision from the Director, the HR & Admin Manager will be responsible for human resource and administrative management of the organization. Following is a brief job summary:

·         Human Resources

- Initiate and process the hiring process with wider dissemination ensuring best candidates are selected

- Ensure administrative follow up of all employees: contracts, job descriptions, background checks, attendance and leaves, salaries, monthly payroll; and file all related documentation

- Ensure all HR documents and procedures are in line with Pakistan Labour Law and Income Tax Regulations

- Implement organizational HR policy, staff performance management system with timely appraisals

- Conduct TNA and roll out staff capacity development plan with follow up mechanism

- Carry out grievance settlement, staff counseling, and regular policy update

·         Administration

- Carry out day to day administration of the head office and support field office admin staff

- Maintain proper filling and documentation system

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures with full documentation

- Manage transportation and logistics, rental and third party agreements for service delivery

- Facilitate field visits of donors and internal staff

- Assist the Director in all required administrative tasks

Requirements:

- At least master’s degree in HR/administration from a recognized university

- Excellent knowledge of Pakistan Labour Law and Income Tax Regulations

- Three to five years experience of working as HR & Admin Manager in NGO or corporate sector.

- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, honest and reliable with diplomacy

- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, E-mail, Internet)

- Languages: English, Urdu & local languages.

- Exposure and ability to work in a fast growing organization with extended responsibilities.

We provide competitive salary packages with employment benefits. Only short listed candidates will be contacted for interviews in Rawalpindi. TA/DA to the interview location will not be covered.
