MIS Officer
Job Description • Prepare and share daily, weekly and monthly progress report on projects. • Design, code and debug applications in 4GL. Application modeling and simulation and front end graphical user interface design and complete lifecycle application development with collection and collation of routine data. • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis. • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD). • Check the quality of data for completeness, consistency and correctness and make amendments as required. • Perform system diagnosis, repair and updates to ensure data integrity; and reliability of automated tasks. • Setup and maintain documentation standards and generate reports as requested by the supervisor. • Ensure routine backups are performed as outlined by the Backup & Restore Manual. • Provide training to staff on data entry, management and use of the applications. • Daily compilation of data and weekly reporting on appropriate reporting tools. • Undertake any other task assigned by supervisor. Requirements • Graduate degree in Computer Sciences • Total Work Experience (In Yrs) 2-3 years • Sector Experience (In Yrs) 1-2 years • Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle • Sound knowledge of database and system performance tuning • Ability to work independently to a high professional standard • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Excellent IT & MS Office skills
