Technical Manager - Field Supervisor (Value Chain Meat)

Specific Responsibility:

Implementation of current and future interventions of meat value chain in the region at field level under the direction and supervision of Value Chain LeadEstablish regional work plans for implementation at regional level with consistent follow upTimely report Progress, Problems and Constraints to Value Chain LeadEstablish and maintain relationships with the private and public sector at regional level necessary for ?successfully achieving the set objectivesDevelop linkage at both forward and back levels of value chain for achievement of set objectives and targets at regional levelMaintain high ethical standards at all times, avoiding any actual or perceived conflicts of interests.Abide by local laws and USAID regulationsMaintain effective communication with and do honest reporting to the Value Chain Lead

Personal Specification:

In-depth technical familiarity with Livestock and meat Production and meat processing technology in Punjab and in National LevelExperience in livestock reproduction and marketing of livestock products with special focus on breed improvement and meat processing and meat marketing at field levelStrong management and communication skills as demonstrated by successful field manager at farm level or field supervisor – four Year minimumMeat processing experience- two yearsSpecific livestock sector development experience through introduction of production enhancement technologies in livestock communities.Specific experience in meat processingAbility to work in independently and in teamWilling to travel extensively 

DVM/Animal husbandry graduate or MSC in Livestock and meat production and processing
