Data Enumerators

Purpose
Enumerators are responsible for primary data collection for the baseline study and have the important task of delivering first hand information from the community. Enumerators hence must be certain that the information they are collecting is accurate.

Key responsibilities:

Study and understand important background documents to understand their role and the objectives of the baseline studyCoordinate with the supervisor to report daily work doneCheck that material necessary to carry out the survey is sufficient  and appropriateIntroduce yourself explaining who you are and who are you working for, in a manner that facilitates the participation of individuals in the surveyAsk all questions exactly as wordedProbe to clarify unclear answersCollect and record data as accurately as possible,Report information accuratelyUnderstand and follow the Terms of Reference for enumerators,Submit reports and documents on time,

Reporting arrangements:

Enumerators will be reporting to the lead surveyor

Personal specifications/essential qualification:

Bachelors/Masters degreeAbility to read and writeWillingness to travel
