Senior Developer, Karachi - Genetech

Qualifications

* Ability to effectively communicate (written and orally) with coworkers and externally to customers.

* Minimum 2+ years of .NET and/or PHP and SQL development experience including designs and implementation.

* Solid troubleshooting, problem solving analytical skills, and the ability to reach innovative options quickly.

Responsibilities

* Proven background in web technologies including complete definition from infrastructure to software technologies built on Microsoft and/or Open source technologies.

* Experience in user sessions, and account management in a load balanced environment with clustered databases.

* Microsoft .NET Technologies including ASP.NET 2.0 and 4.0, C# and development in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010

* PHP programmer with proven experience on at least on of these frameworks Codeigniter, CakePHP or Yii frameworks.

* Experience in web languages DHTML, CSS, ASP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Web Services and use of XML.

* Experience in MS SQL or MySQL, including development and design using SQL and Transact-SQL

* Experience with version control tools and concepts (e.g. Visual SourceSafe, Subversion, Team Foundation Server)

* Experience in the integration of off-the-shelf web applications, and integration with third parties to interface with the system.

* Perform quality control audits and load tests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper handling of data.

* Provide technical resolution of issues on mission critical systems and serves as primary point of contact for coordination.

* Effectively document all processes, designs and data flows.
