Early Childhood Education Trainer (Female)

The Early Child hood Education trainer, with the guidance and support of the Project Coordinator, is responsible for developing and implementing a training program for CPLC’s (Child Protection Learning Centers) facilitators, parents, care givers, teachers, child protection committees, village organizations, PTCs and for children. The training components must meet the emotional, physical, cognitive and social needs of both the individual child and the group, keeping in view World Vision’s mission and principles

Major Activity:
• Undertake training need assessment of CPLC facilitators ,parents, teachers, PTC/SMC members and other stakeholders
• Design training material/manuals and conduct trainings in close coordination with project coordinator
• Design and implement training follow up mechanism and ensure need based support and guidance to the CPLC facilitators
• Work closely with CPLC facilitators, education officers and child protection officers to provide a warm, safe, and caring environment in schools and CPLCs that is kept orderly, clean and appealing to allow the child to grow and to explore.
• Develop low/no cost activities for teaching   by involving children, CPLC facilitators, teachers and PTC members.
• Write  training reports according to the project and donor requirements
• Maintain ongoing records for children in CPLCs, including keeping records of all developing skills (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive).
• Produce success stories/case studies and share with communication & advocacy section through concerned supervisor
• Orient the concerned beneficiaries on project goal, objectives and target
• Maintain updated record of concerned activities.
• Contribute in short/long term plans, conducting need assessments and developing concept notes.
• Submit monthly, weekly and daily work plan to the concern supervisor on regular basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
• MA/MSc with B.Ed/M.Ed.
• Master in Education/Teacher Education is desirable

Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Diverse work experience with National/International well reputed organizations is desirable.

Skills:
• Good communication skills both verbal and written in Pashto, English and Urdu
• Good report writing skills
• Able to design training material/manuals and conduct trainings to the diverse stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Power Point and Excel)
• Knowledge of CRC, INEE Minimum Standards and Sphere standards
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Coordination and team building sills
• Demonstrates strong conflict management skills
• Good understanding of cultural and religious customs and practices in the area of operations
