Training Officer

We are an International Organization (INGO) working in the field of elections, democracy and governance in collaboration with government institutions and civil society in support of electoral reforms in Pakistan. We are currently seeking committed and energetic staff for the above position. Detailed scope of work with required skills and qualifications are summarized below:

Duties and Responsibilities:  

Assist Training Specialist in designing, planning and coordinating a detailed training plan taking into account the needs of partner government institution and evaluate the impact of the trainings.Facilitate Training Specialist in ensuring effective management, implementation of all training activities as per work plan focusing on achieving the set outputs and outcome.Responsible for successfully conduct of all training activities, designing  training package, including methodologies, procedures and modalities for effective training and coordinating with all involved actors to make necessary arrangements and timely execution.Review of all training packages by analyzing the course contents, methodology and efficiency and effectiveness of resource persons and training materials, impact assessment and feedbacks on improving training programs etc.To manage all training related files, documents, correspondence and respond to training program related queries and prepare high quality training program reports.Other activities as may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

Master’s degree in Social Sciences/ Management, human resource development or related fields.Minimum of five (5) years of direct relevant working experience in adult training and exercising modern training methodologies, preparation of training manuals, management experience in the design & implementation of large scale cascade training programs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to write and format short and crisp concept/strategy papers, option papers, activity reports and programmatic analytical reports etcComputer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, SPSS and In-page.Fluency in English, knowledge of local languages desirable.Understanding of capacity building and institutional building issuesAbility to produce high quality work under pressure and within time constraints.Preferably prior working experience with international organizations.
