Director Operation Development (Pakistan)

Location: Multan / Peshawar / Islamabad.

Minimum experience required 15 years

Job Description:

· Coordinates and executes all domestic/international shipments; works closely with all vendors and ensures that shipments are handled as per the clients requirements (all customer routing instructions are being followed).
· Monitors Outbound/Inbound schedules and coordinates with warehouse, documentation department and other departments to ensure on-time clearance and delivery.
· Assists through the administrative process, in execution of all import/export shipments to and from company while maintaining best possible service standard at competitive cost.
· Investigates and determines possible routes of customer shipments and negotiates rates accordingly.
· Facilitates and expedites communication between clients, carriers, handling agents, suppliers, and internal departments such as Sales and Customer Services to establish best service possible.
· Ensures billings are captured and updated in the system within 24 hours from the time job is completed.
· Any other related duties/projects assigned by the management from time to time in order to meet business needs.

Skills Required:

- Fluency in English
- Thorough knowledge of local export handling carrier regulations
- Knowledge of local Export/Import procedures
- Knowledge of shipment load-ability and compatibility
- Knowledge of Special Cargo (Dangerous Cargo, Perishable, Live Animals etc)
- Negotiation skills / Good communication skills
- Computer Skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
