General Manager Accounts and Finance (Pakistan)

Location: Multan / Peshawar / Islamabad.

Job Description:

15 years Minimum experience in same field.

Major tasks include:

- Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Prepare and complete action plans; complete audits; identify trends; determine system improvements and implement change.
- Meet accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepare annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
- Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; prepare special reports.
- Liaison with suppliers, auditors, consultants, tax and corporate bodies for related matters.
- Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; define accounting policies and procedures.
- Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; apply observations and recommendations to operational issues.
Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls.
- Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforce accounting regulations.
- Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills Required:

- Qualified ICMA/CA, CA Finalist
- At least 15 years of experience at the same capacity.

The person must have excellent experience and knowledge of any of the various accounting fields, like payroll, inventory management, sales and purchase accounts, taxation etc.

- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
- The applicant must have good command on Microsoft Office.

Excellent knowledge of financial accounting and software applications.
