Accountant
We are a small company but have seen a good growth in a last couple of years. Our core business is to import medical products from different countries and supply to all over Pakistan through our strong distribution network. Moreover, we have a passionate front end marketing sales force in all major cities which require quick, excellent and efficient support from business.
The role exists for an Accountant who at the moment will be sole responsible individual to post the information in an accounting system, produce the accounts and financial information for the management on a regular basis. The accountant will directly report to a young and energetic Operations Manager. It is a good opportunity to learn, grow and strengthen your skills for a right candidate.
Job Description
Purchase and sales ledger – raising and submitting invoices with appropriate documents Posting of customer receipts (Cash, Cheques), Customer Ledger Maintaining Keeping issuance record of all bid money, CDR, Pay orders and DD’sTo keep personal record of all employees. Posting of Salaries, Expenses, allowances, Loan payments and other related informationMaintaining all accounts journal in a timely and efficient mannerProducing the ledgers to a trial balance and investigating the discrepancies if ariseReconciliation of general ledger accounts and Bank statementsProducing the management information and customized reporting on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basisPerforming month end closing process by reconciling all the figures and generating reportsDealing with Sales and Income Tax mattersTaking the ownership of complete accounting activities and performing other tasks as given on an ad-hoc basis Skills/QualificationGraduate accountancy or related qualificationAt least 3 years experience in a accounts handling rolePositive and ‘can do’ attitude. Hard working, integrity and honesty should be key attributes of his/her personalityStrong IT Skills required especially in Peachtree/QuickBooks accounting and Microsoft Excel SalaryBased on qualification, skills and experienceTo Apply
