Job Description:

A medical officer is responsible for managing the various aspects of a health care facility or center.

The officer performs quality assurance assessments of services within a health care system.

The medical officer also develop business strategies of a health care system and can work in a private doctors’ complex, hospital, residential treatment facility or nursing home.

This position is also known as a health services officer or health services administrator.
