Graphic Designer

An international non-governmental organization (INGO) administering relief and development programs worldwide is seeking applications for a program in the KP & FATA regions. The program aims to provide equitable and transparent support to civilian victims of conflict related violence in KP province and FATA. Positions based in Peshawar might require regional travel of up to 30%. Fluent spoken and written English is required for all positions except the cleaner. Applications are invited from interested and experienced applicants for the following position.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides graphic design and desktop publishing services for all CVSP promotional and outreach materials (posters, leaflets, brochures, photo plaques, banners, bags, packaging designs, photo albums, business cards, t-shirts, caps, etc.) for international and Pakistani audiencesBrands all visual products in compliance with the USAID Branding & Marking requirements.Organizes local print production.Develops and implements innovative ideas to educate conflict victims in KP & FATA areas on available assistance through picture-based means (free-hand illustrations).Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

A relevant degree in Art & Design or related field. Appropriate software certificates (Adobe Suite    Standard) en lieu of a university degree is also acceptable.3+ years of work experience in graphic design.Fluent English is required; Pashto preferred.Proven experience in graphic design for humanitarian marketing and outreach campaigns.Professional level of Adobe Suite Standard use (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Adobe Suite Pro preferred.
