Inventory Officer, Multicities

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

Receive receipts of items purchased and enter item into the computerized inventory according to the Inventory policies and proceduresOnce items are purchased, maintain a file of requisition, canvass, Purchase Orders and receipts to support inventoryTag all fixed assets with inventory code number
Update inventory if item status changes,such as if the item is destroyed, stolen, moved to another location,donated, or soldReconcile fixed asset inventory with finance on a monthly basis.Produce reports of items, costs, locations of specific items upon request of managementAssist with purchasing when requestedMonitor items that are sent for repair. Keep records of repairs and recommend whether repair or replacement is more cost effectiveTrain and capacity build other Inventory officers and assistants

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- A graduate degree in logistics, business, or related field and 2-3 years of Assets management experience

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

- Fluency in written and spoken English.

- Excellent skills on computer operation, especially on Microsoft Excel

- Commitment to Save the Children values
