FATA Project Coordinator
Job Description:
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Emergency and Stabilization Department and Emergency Officer, and in accordance with directives received from the IOM Humanitarian Communications (HComms) Program Officer, the FATA Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing program activities in the field.
Provided below are the key responsibilities of FATA Coordinator:
Coordinate with concerned political agents, assistant political agents and government officials within the PDMA, FDMA and district administration to ensure continued service delivery in all target areas.Establish and maintain partnerships with all actors providing humanitarian assistance and support to affected population, including working in coordination for assessments, field trips, information sharing, product development, etc.Share gaps, needs and grievances of affected population with relevant authorities and actors to improve aid delivery.Supervise field activities of Information Officers and Associates according to required targets and monitor the quality of staff performance.Develop and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to keep project activities on track.Review and improve daily reporting of staff in coordination with Information SpecialistAssisting Information Specialist to develop information products specific to needs and preferences of FATA’s affected population.Any other tasks that may be assigned.Qualification:
