Project Coordinator

Major Activities:

Ensure all pre-requisites for design phase stage of the project including detailed need assessment and proposal development.Oversee the development, management and implementation of project interventions through CDI approach with in the AIP ensuring that project activities are the communities’ priority need within given time frame and budget.Ensure capacity building of CPOs, communities and organizations relative to the preparation of development plans, project proposals and grant compliance regulations as per guidelines of project document.Lead in Development of formats/templates in English and local language when and where neededParticipate in the grants review committee and provide recommendations for the allocation of funding to CBOs.Prepare, review and process funding applications and track grants through approval process in line with the transparency and accountability principles.Prepare and manage contracts and ensures contract signing follows standard procedures, financial control mechanisms and guidelines.Prepare requests for technical support; manage technical support requirements, documentations and monitoring progress of consultants.Supervise the development of procurement plans and implementation of the plan accordingly.Assist in the conduct of program, field assessments and project reviews in consideration of future program planning, implementation and evaluation.Manage closure of projects and ensure smooth project exits from communities.Ensure timely preparation and submission of all required reports.Liaise with local authorities at UC and sub district level and government line agencies at district and provincial level to ensure strong government relations and support of community programs.Initiate recruitment requests for staff, develop performance agreements, staff development plans and conduct periodic performance review of project staff to ensure satisfactory staff performance and development .Participates and takes lead in AIP on research, future project design and development of concept papers and proposals, budget, including re-designing, and review when necessary.Preparation and submission of regular narrative and other reports required by donor/s, support offices and management following LEAP reporting system (templates, schedule, etc.) based on the M&E monthly reports.Review all program and project documents to ensure that principles of Red Cross Code of Conduct. SPHERE Standards, HAP-I standards and relevant WVI standards, strategies and policies are adhered to.

Knowledge and Skills: 

Master’s degree/University degree in any of the relevant field - management, business management, rural development, development studies or social sciences3-5 years proven experience in project management and MonitoringFluent in English, preferred knowledge of Urdu/Hindko.Strong Understanding of Budgeting and proposal formatsSound knowledge and understanding of citizen voice and action (CVA) approach and Child Well Being Outcomes (CWBO) of World vision will be an added value.
